Preschool and Nursery Website

A parent choosing a preschool arrives with worry, not curiosity: is my child safe here, what does the day look like, who are the teachers? A parent who cannot find those answers on a phone screen does not call; they move on to the next school. We build the site around the parent's decision and end it with a school tour booking.

What is this site's job?

Earn the parent's trust

Teaching staff, safety measures, health and meal routines are stated plainly. The parent's first worry is answered on the first screen.

Book school tours

The decision is usually made on the tour. Every page leads to it, and the phone rings less.

Make pre-registration easy

A short form filled in by choosing an age group and term. Applications are listed in the panel; none gets lost in email.

Show up in neighbourhood searches

Parents look for a school near home. The site is prepared for "district + preschool" searches and for Google Maps.

What goes on the site?

Age group pages

A page per age group: class size, staff ratio, daily programme and that age's developmental goals.

What does a day look like?

The daily routine from morning drop-off to pick-up. The thing parents want to know most, in its simplest form.

Weekly menu and allergens

The menu is updated from the panel and allergens are flagged. The question parents ask every week is answered on the site.

School tour and pre-registration flow

Pick a day and time for a tour, then pre-register. The school is notified the moment a new application arrives.

Staff and campus pages

Teachers' training and experience, the garden, classrooms and play areas. With more than one branch, each gets its own page.

Children's photos handled lawfully

A photo showing a child's face is published only with the parent's consent. We build the gallery around that rule and prepare the privacy notice.

Mistakes we see often

Patterns that came up again and again in the sites we reviewed. We do not name companies.

Sites stuck on "under construction"

Some of the school sites we reviewed have shown an under-construction page for years. During enrolment, parents see it and cross the school off their list.

Information buried in a PDF brochure

Programme details live in a brochure that has to be downloaded. It does not open well on a phone, and Google cannot read it either.

The phone as the only way in

A parent visiting after hours cannot book anything. Enrolment decisions are often made in the evening, when both parents are home.

Children's photos without consent

Galleries show children's faces without parental consent. That is a data protection risk and a sight that erodes other parents' trust.

What we need from you to start

  • Age groups, class sizes and staff ratios
  • The daily routine and a sample weekly menu
  • Teaching staff details and photos (with consent)
  • Photos of the garden, classrooms and play areas
  • Enrolment dates and suitable days and times for school tours

How long does it take?

3–4 weeks for a single branch, 5–8 weeks with several branches and a panel. To be live before enrolment opens, start at least a month ahead.

Frequently asked questions

What should a preschool website include?

The five things parents look for before deciding: age groups, the daily routine, the teaching staff, safety and meal arrangements, and a way to book a school tour. All of it should be readable one-handed on a phone.

Where do we see pre-registration applications?

As a list in the admin panel. You get an email notification for each application and track its status from the panel.

Can we publish photos of children on the site?

Only with the parent's explicit consent. Where there is no consent we use shots in which children's faces are not visible. We prepare the privacy notice as part of the site.

Do a nursery and a preschool need separate sites?

No. One site has separate pages per age group, so the nursery group's care routine and the preschool group's education programme are each described on their own.

How do we get our school to stand out on Google Maps?

The address, phone number and opening hours on the site must match your Google Business Profile exactly. We build the site that way and tell Google the type of school through structured data.
